Technology, Content and Services.
The fully digital modular Technology of Multimedia Hotel Infotainment System integrates
existing Standard Technologies and allows cost efficient Systems with short setup and
integration periods.
All the applications and screens viewable on the TV screen can be adapted to the look
and feel of the hotel.

All controls in the hotel room (TV remote control, keyboard) are wireless.
Even the guests notebook computer can be connected through wireless LAN.

The Multimedia RoomGateway is the central element in the room
The following functions are offered in the Deuromedia hotel infotainment system:
TV & Radio
All international TV and Radio stations receivable via Satellite can be viewed on TV.
Selection of the Channels is through:
a) the comfortable EPG (electronic Programm Guide)
b) a selection based on the language of the TV-channels
c) a selection based on the country of the TV-channel
d) a selection based on the topic of the TV-channel top
The Channel List
it is possible to receive FTA (Free to Air) as well as encrypted Channels in each Hotel room.
TV channels can be distributed in a static and combined in a dynamic mode. The mainly watched channels will be in static mode. Any special interest or „exotic“ channels will be distributed in dynamic mode which allows each guest to to switch to the full list of offered channels (minimum 60 FTA channels) with his remote control.
If the Satellites ASTRA 19,2 east and Hotbird 13 east are received the channel list can be created out of 130 FTA und more than 150 encrypted channels (the hotel has to sign a contract with the relevant Content Service Providers e.g. Premiere).
the sequence of the displayed channels can be adapted to the nationality and language of the guest if this info is provided by the hotel front office System (e.g. Hogatex, SIHOT, Fidelio, SITEK).
any TV or Radio Channel can be used in the Wake Up Service.
All the points are also valid for the Radio channels.
billing data: the system generates billing tickets for VOD, Gaming, Shopping and Internet Services. These billing information ist automatically transferred to the front office system to be integrated in the guest bill
Bill preview and quick Checkout, including credit card payment function
CMS (Content Management System) for the Hotel to display the hotels own services, Information and promotions.
CD/DVD Player-Functionality
Each RoomGateway can be supplied with a DVD Player which is also controlled through the Navigation. The DVD player is integrated in the RoomGateway box or in a separate housing. top

Function Room Service (Housekeeping): employees have access to their personal checklist on each screen in the hotel through a PIN code and can therefore deliver the Status of the room including Minibar to the Reception Desk (front Office System)

Gaming
Different types of games can be used. Whether they are basic or sophisticated eMediaNet offers a
wide variety of gaming-on-demand.
A dedicated grid of game servers enables the latest video games to be played on demand on any
broadband-connected device.
All existing and future game titles can be brought to eMediaNet with minimal porting work.
The server-centric nature of these systems is particularly well-suited to multiplayer and other
community-building games.
Multilingual Menus and Navigation
The full navigation of the system can be set to different languages.
A preselection of the language per room and day is done automatically through
the input coming from the hotels front office system.
